channel district - tampa, florida – january 1997

developed in 1997, the channel district community group lobbied and won tax money from government agencies for this public improvement project on tampa�s historic commercial waterfront. upon construction it became the open space that connects dozens of condos, restaurants, theaters, offices, and of course, the canal. kevin worked closely with the new neighborhood association to help them define collective development goals, create a baseplan for the neighborhood and conceptualize the build-out plan.
